This meeting was Table Topics Festival!
Table Topics is an impromptu speech which help members organize their thoughts and respond quickly.
We concentrated on Table topics only to train it.
At first, our president TM T.N. introduced the first 7 seconds is important for speech.
The three tips were smile,eye contact and being creative.
Your audience will be interested in you with your smile and eye contact.
Being creative will avoid the boring introduction.
You never get the second chance to your first impression.
Toastmasters of the evening was TM S.K.
He planed three sessions,standard style, trick style,and free style.
The standard style topics master was TM T.N..
He explained about PREP way, point,reason,example,pint.
We learned how to give impromptu speeches in a standard way.
The first trick style topics master was TM K.U..
She introduced two tips in case we have no idea about a topic.
The first tip was picking another word.
The second tip was replacing any other topics we can talk.
The second trick style topics master was TM H.N..
He also shared two tips to help us become mentally strong without being nervous.
The first tip was having a routine.
The second tip was asking the question to the audience.
We got useful items to fight for any topics from both trick topics masters.
We learned the standard and tricky methods in the sessions.
The last session was free style.
The last topics master was everyone.
In that session,firstly TM S.K. gave a topic to TM H.K..
He made an impromptu speech using the methods we learned.
And then, he gave another topic to TM M.S..
We repeated the cycle.
The general evaluator was TM H.K..
He gave a general evaluation to us session by session.
And he recommended to continue such a Table Topics exercise time regularly.
This meeting's bouquet was from TM S.K. to all speakers, because all speeches were within the time limit.
And tough love was from TM Y.S. to TM S.K., she recommended that ah counter role be included kindly.
